MABEL M. SWENKA BECOMES BRIDE OF ADOLPH NOVOTNYMiss Mabel M, Swenka, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Swenka* of Oxford, became the 'bride of Adolph E. Novotny, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Novotny of Shuey-ville, Wednesday at 2 p. m., the Rev, Francis Pokorny, pastor of the Ely Presbyterian church officiating. Miss Marie H. Swenka, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor and Henry Jost of Center Point, cousin of the bridegroom, served as best man.The bride wore an lt;ivory satin gown with a fitted bodice. Her long silk veil was held in place with a small wreath of lilies of the valley. She wore a neckless of pearls, a gift of the .bridegroom and carried an arm bouquet of pale yellpw roses and white sweet peas. The maid of honor wore an orchid gown with white accessories. Her flowers' were roses and 'orchid sweet peas.Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was_served to the immediate relatives at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Novotny will make their home on a farm near Shueyville.
