Heckathorn-s WardtMiss Patricia Ann Ward, e daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert n Ward of Centerville, became the , bride of Alan Dale Heckathorn,'I son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard K Heckathorn of Cranberry, Saturday, June 19, at 1:3C p.m. in Cranberry United Methodist Church.Rev. Alvin Rhodes, pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony. Wedding music was presented by Miss Ruth Ridley.Given in marriage by her . father, the bride appeared in a floor-length empire gown with • rounded lace neckline and full, -chapel-length hooded cape of venise lace edged in a scalloped design of tiny seed, pearls. She , carried a nosegay of daisies, white carnations and gypsophila,Mrs. Robert Heckathorn attended the bride as matron of honor, attired in a floor-length gown of blue in an “A” line. A white picture hat completed her ensemble and she carried a bouquet of white carnations with blue streamers.Robert Heckathorn served his brother as best man. Ushers were James Heckathorn and Dale Shaw, brother and uncle of the bridegroom respectively.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Ward selected a coral dress with white accessories and a corsage of coral carnations and white stephanotis. The mother of the bridegroom chose a powder blue dress with white accessories and a corsage of blue carnations and white stephanotis.Following the ceremony, a reception was held, in the Cranberry Grange Hall. Aides were Mrs. Harry Weaver and Mrs. Willard Sheatz.The bride attended Franklin High School. Her husband, a graduate of Cranberry High School, Class of 1972, is employed by Big Value Builders.
