Johnson’s home in Lake-view Heights In Inman.Among the parties honoring Sue Ann were: a luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Spartanburg given by Mrs. William Sterling Baker, Margaret Bruce, and Bonnie Bonn; a shower at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Jackson given bv Mrs. Jackson, Pearl Fisher, Mrs. Marvin Johnson, and Mrs. I/eon Johnson; a luncheon at the Lobster House, Spartanburg, with Mrs. Rvon Edwards, hosteas; a dinner party at the Longhorn Room, Spartanburg, given by Mrs. Reese Johnson and Mrs. Ray Padirett; entertaining with a shower May 28, at the home of Mrs. Jim Lynch, Leonard Street, Inman, were Mrs. Lynch and Mrs.Edward M. Anderson; a miscellaneous shower at the home of Mrs. Jack Campbell, Lake View Heights, Inman, given by Mrs. Campbell. Mrs. John Cothran, Mrs. J. E. Blackwell, Jr., and Mrs. Horace Settle.Prior to the closing of school, Sue Ann and Pat were honored here with a dinner party given by Mr. and Mrs. Leon Calloway and Mr. and Mrs. Murray Wood at the Galloway Home.An earlier party, shortly after the engagement was announced, was a luncheon given by Mrs. W. P. Walke and Nancv Walke at the Meadowhrook Country Club in Chester. Va.. when Sue Ann was introduced to the groom’s family and friends.
