Haller-Calhoun Wedding In South Stockton ChurchMr. and Mrs. Claude Haller, former residents of Cable Hollow now living on Kimball Stand-Stockton Rd., Sinclairvilie, N. Y., have announced the marriage of their daughter, Gretch-en Joyce, to Wade Hughes Calhoun Jr., son of Mrs. Marjorie Calhoun of Florence, S. C., and W. Hughes Calhoun.THE DOUBLE ring ceremony was performed at 2 p.m. June IS in the South Stockton Church of God, the Rev. Mary W. Hale officiating before an altar setting of palms, candelabra, and baskets of white gladiola and lringed carnations.Mrs. Howard Fox, Akeley, presented traditional wedding music and accompanied the Rev. Willis McChesney, who sang “Because,” “The Sweetest Story Ever Told” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”MR. HALLER presented his daughter in marriage and Mrs. Nancy Anderson, Russell, was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Barbara Haller, Akeley, cousin of the bride, and Frances Brumagin, Sinclairvilie.The bridal gown was styledwith a bodice of rosepoint lace,scallops outlining the Sabrinaneckline and long sleeves tapering to points over the hands. A deep band of scalloped lace detailed the silk peau skirt, which flowed into a chapel sweep.A jeweled crown secured her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion and the silk handkerchief she carried was a family heirloom. Completing her ensemble, the bride carried a cascade of white roses, stephanotis and ivy.MRS. ANDERSON wore apricot peau taffeta and carried a cascade of Talisman roses. Her street-length sheath was fashioned with circlet neckline, bracelet sleeves and a bouffant floor-length overskirt omament-CONDIDERS BUDGETH o M a Unrl If ned with a silk rose at the front hemline. Her headpiece was a matching rose with pearl accents.The bridesmaids were similarly attired in ballet blue and carried Colonial arrangements of pink carnations. Wearing white lace and carrying a basket of pink carnations, the flower girl was Christine Ferino, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ferino, Sinclairvilie. Monty Win-ton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Win ton, was the ring-bearer.MR. CALHOUN chose as best man the bride’s cousin, Ronald Anderson of Russell. Ushering guests were John Putnam, Akeley, and the bride’s foster-brother, George Rowland, Sin-clairville.The bride’s mother selected a blue and white jersey print, to which she added white accessories and a Talisman rose corsage. Mrs. Carl Haller, grandmother of the bride, was presented a corsage of white fringed carnations and roses. The maternal grandmother was unable to attend because of illness.ANNE AND Alice HaUer, twin cousins of the bride, managed the guest book for the reception given • in the Sinclairvilie Fire Hall. The five-tiered wedding cake was made and decorated by the bride’s mother, Aideswere Nancy Laurence, Warren, and Sandra Haller of Russell and Buffalo, N. Y.FOLLOWING a brief honeymoon, the bride is residing at | home until September 1, when she will join her husband at Patuxent River, Md. He is stationed at the Patuxent Air Station as an aviation machinist’s mate, United States Navy. He is a graduate of McClenahan High School in Florence.The bride, a graduate of Cas-sadaga Valley Central School, is employed as a Nurse Aide at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, N. Y.
