Bib Cook officiated at the double ring ceremony.Baskets of white gladioli and pink moms formed the decoration for a while WTOuglU iron arch.' White cathedral tapers in candelabra were set against a backgroimd of greenery to complete the altar decorations. White bows centered wth lilies of the valley marked the aisle.The nuptial music was presented by Miss Catherine Curr^ Broum, pianist, and Mrs. A. W. Ellis, soloist. Mrs. Ellis sang “Always”, “Because”. and The Lord's Prayer.The bride, given in marriage by father, wore a gown of white net and lace over taffeta, the lace embroidered with seed pearls. Her fingertip veil of illusion edged in lace was attached to a small lace bat which was al.'^o embroidered in seed pearls. She candod a bouquet of orchids surrounded by split carnations on a white lace-covered Bible. The traditional “something old. new. borrowed and blue” was carried out in the bride’.s attire.,Miss Freddie Marshall was maid of honor and Miss Joy McCarver, sister of the bridegroom. was bridesmaid. Miss Lana Barr and Miss Cathenia Williams, cousins of the bride, lighted the candles. Little Miss Lrnda McCutchen and little Miss Pamela Franks wereflower girls.AH were attired in identically-fashioned dresses of pink embroidered organdy with the exception of the candlelighters, who wore mint green. All wore headdresses and mitts to match their dresses.Charles Huey was best man and Fred Blanchard was groomsman. Serving as ushers were Quinton and Roger Barnett.Little Lai’ry McCutchen. brother; of the bride, was ringbcarer. He | carried the rings on a white satinpillow.The bride's mother wore a white and beige sheer print dress with beige accessories and a pink corsage. The bridegroom’s mother wore a navy and wdiite dress withj white accessories and a pink corsage.Mrs. Gayle Fr^ks registered the guests at the reception which was held in the recreation roomof the church.The bride’s table, covered wnth a hand-crocheted cloth over mint green, was centered with a miniature bride figurine flanked by two pink tapers in cr’stal candJehold-ers. The three-tiered wedding cake was trimmed with pink roses and green leaves and was topped with a miniature bride and groom figurine. Ser\dng at the bride’s table were Miss Lane Poston and Mrs.Horace Baker.The bride, daughter of Mr. andMrs. Eric McCutchen. is a graduate of Gatesville High School.
