Laubenthal of Emmetsburg. became the brtde of Raphael Mon-tag, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Montag of West Bend, Father Clarence Farrellv performed the double ring ceremony and celebrated the nuptial mass at 9 o'clock Monday morning, June 21.Acolytes were A1 Laubenthal, brother of the bride, and John Spies.The bride, who was- given in marriage by her father, wore a while slipper satin gown, with a sweetheart neckline, f aslii onert with a hoop skirt. The bodice was fitted and trimmed in seed pearls, with the long sleeves pointed at the' wrist. The skrrt of bridal satin was made with' a seuior train. Her. fingertip veil was an exact duplicate of Princess Eliza-; beth’s wedding veil. She carried a large bouquet of red roses and baby breath.The bride's sister, Miss June Laubenthal, served as maid of honor, and-^wore a pink floor-Iength satin gown with mitts to •match. She carried a colonial bouquet.Miss (Maxine Montag of West Band, cousin of the groom, wore a gown of yellow net illusion Over heavy yellow taffeta,' Miss Dorothy DeRock of Rockwell, friend of the bride, wore a gown of blue net Illusion over heavy blue taffeta.' Both carried colonial bouquets.Best man was Harold Montag of West Bend, the groom’s brother. Richard Montag of West Bend, cousin of -the groom, and Marvin Laubenthal of West Bend.! cousin of the bride, served as honorary ushers.
