April Fawn Pike,Gregory Allen Hoeingunited in double-ring 3On Saturday, June 3, 1989, April Fawn Pike became the bride of Gregory Allen Hoeing in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony at the Ben Davis Creek Christian Church. Howard Bullard performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Trudy Aliens, friend of the family.April is the daughter of Chaney and Kay Pike, R.R. 1, Glenwood and Gregory is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hoeing of Sarasota, FL and the late Mildred Hoeing (nee Meyer) of Rushville.The bride given in marriage by her father and mother, wore a floor length gown of ivory satin with chapel length train. Delicate lace and pearl applique adorned the bodice and basque waistline. Her sweetheart neckline and long tapered sleeves were trimmed with a touch of matching lace and pearls. Her headpiece, handmade by Mrs. Robert Ging, friend of the fa mily, was fingertip length with a band of ivory opaque pearls. The bride also wore 14K gold earrings. The bride carried a bouquet of pink roses and babies'-breath with ivory lace ribbon.Valerie Pike, sister of the bride was maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Jeanie Hornung. New Palestine. Both dresses were made by Mrs. Hornung. Each attendant received a crystal vase from the biide.Tim Heeb, friend of the groom. Martinsville, was best man. Groomsman was Gary Wilson, New Salem. Ushers were Dan Hoeing, brother of the groom, and Dr. Steve Sickbert, brother-in-law.Cindy Sickbert, sister of the groom, registered the guests.Grandparents in attendance were Mrs. Anne Porter, Con-nersville and Mrs. A.J. Meyer, Rushville.An outdoor reception for 500 guests was held at the home of the bride and groom. “Colt 45 provided music from the gazebo built by the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Coon. R. 1. Glenwood. roasted a beef which was served by Carol Meyer. Rushville, cousin of the groom and Susan Pratt. Rushville, friend of the bride. The wedding cake was made by Claudia Meyer, aunt of the groom. Mrs. Della Pratt made mints.Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hoeing hosted the rehearsal dinner for 21 people at Winkerby’s in Rushville.The bride is a 1982 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and is presently employed by Marsh Supermarkets in Rushivlle. The groom is a 1975 graduate from RCHS and is engaged in the family farmingbusiness. IThe couple took a cruise to 'the Virgin Islands, Nassau and ISan Juan. Puerto Rico. They are now residing at R.R. 1. Box (14, Glenwood. lt;Out of town guests were the 1bride’s aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. Blaine A. Alleman III. and lt;son. David A.
