Tr«nt*Smith Vows arc ExchangedThe marriage of Miss Shirley Ann Trent, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Clyde Trent of Whitsburg and Mr. Denny Ray Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs, Hewey Smith of Fairborn, Ohio, was solemnized at the home of the brides par ents Sunday June 24 at 1:00 in the afternoon. The double ring ceremony was performed before the immediate families of the bhde groom by Rev. E. Hampton Barnette, pastor of the Methodist Church of Whitesburg,Miss Ruthena Smith, sister of the groom and college classmate of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Herbert Smith, brother of the groom, served as best man,The bride was attired in a babyblue, nylon, ballerina lengthdress. The bodice was of embroidered nylon over taffeta, the skirt w*as fashioned of taffeta with a tulle over skirt. She carried a white Bible.The maid of honor wore a pink street length dress of embroidered nylon over taffeta.After a brief honeymoon in Ohio the couple will make their home in Fairborn, Ohio, wherethe groom is now employed.
