Simple Wedding Ceremony at Roth-Rave NuptialsA simple wedding was performed at the Sacred Heart church Thursday morning at 7 o’clock when Miss Gladys Roth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Roth, 2305 Queen street, became the bride of Mr. Herman Rare.Miss Roth wore a floor length white satin gown with pufTed sleeves tapering to the wrist and with a high cowl neckline. She had a short-trained veil fashioned In a cap held In place with orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of Easter lilies. Her only ornament was a gold necklace which her grandmother wore on her wedding day 46 years ago. Her crystal rosary was the gift of the bridegroom.At 12 o’clock a wedding breakfast was served to 40 guests at the home cf the bride’s parents.During their wedding trip to Chicago and eastern points, Mrs. Rave Is wearing a white linen ensemble with corresponding accessories. After July IB they will be at home to their friends at their new home. 1625 Wood street.Before her marriage Mrs. Ravewas employed at Roshek’s store and Mr. Rave Is an employe of Morrison Brothers company.On Monday evening, Mrs. Clarence Faust concluded the series of prenuptial parties honoring Miss Roth with a kitchen shower. Prises at bunco were won by Miss Blanche Rave, Mrs. Charles Gerstkamp and Miss Charlotte Gerstkamp.
