HYMENEALMcRONALD — CORLETTAmid the fragrance of June Mower*• a pretty wedding took place at high *: noon, Wednesday, June 20, at the• home of the bride's parents, Mr and M Mis R J. Corlett, Dornoch, whentheir elder daughter, Gladys Myrtle,I was united in marriage to Norman ! T. McRonald, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. C. McRonald, South Bentinck. To the music of the wedding march I played by Miss Janet McRonald, the groom’s sister, the bride entered the living room on the arm of her fath-! er. and took her place, unattended, with the groom beneath a balsam arch, decorated with a wedding bell and streamers. The impressive ceremony was conducted by the bride's pastor, Rev. W. A. McWilllam of Chatsworth. The girlish bride was| charming in a dainty gown of h*fiey dew georgette crepe, trimmed with satin and gold set in lace, carrying a bouquet of carnations and fern, and wearing in her hair a rhinestone band. She also wore the groom’s gift, a white gold bar pin, set with a diamond. To the organist he presented a gold ring with her birth stone.Following the ceremony the wedding dinner was served at a table. ; centred by a pretty wedding cake, j The guests included the immediate relatives of bride and groom. Many beautiful gifts fiom friends near and far attested the respect and affection with which the bride is regarded.The young couple left on the after-■ | noon train to spend the honeymoon ; in Niagara Falls and Toronto, where . I many friends awaited them at the• ] home of the groom’s cousin. Mr and• Mrs A. J Cresswell, motoring home | with friends Monday. The bride trav, elled in a navy Mat crepe dress with . navy coat. The bride will be much missed in her home community and in Datona Church w'here she was a i willing helper and member of the j choir.
