COOPER-SAGE NUPTIALSThursday at noon was a scene of a pretty home wedding at the home of Mrs. Katie Sage when her eldest daughter, Mary Esther, became the bride of Wilbert •Cooper, a young farmer of Newton county.The Rev. Wilson of the MethodistChurch of Brook performed the cere-raonv. The Bridal chorus was plaved by Mrs. Raymond Sage.The bride was dressed in a beautiful dress of white silk beaded georgette crepe carrying a bouquet of June roses. The groom wore conventional black. The bridesmaid was the bride’s sister. Jeannie Sage. The best man being the groom’s brother.Arthur Cooper. .The home was decorated with pinKand white June roses.Immediately after the wedding, a wedding feast was enjoyed by the immediate relatives of the bride and ernom. After the feast the bride and err am left for a tour through northeastern Illinois.The bride was a graduate of tneGoodland high school, and has been a promising young teacher in the Jasper County schools the past two years, and enjoys a host of friends, who wish her happiness in her newhome. , , , v.The groom has lived most of hislife near Brook, terming with hisparents. He graduated from thenrook high school and enjoys a hostof friends. .Mr. and Mrs. Cooper will be athome to their many relatives andfriends after July 15.They will reside on Mr. Cooper sfather’s farm near Brook.—-INK*
