Frank Lissenden Eversull, pastor of the Presbyterian church and principal of the McCray-Dewey township high school of this city, was a happy nup-i i tial event which took place yesterday - • afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of i j the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Briegel, in Columbia. The couple entered the parlor to the Btrains of 1 Lohengrin's Wedding March, executed on the piano by Miss Ruth Eversull, a sister of the groom, and stood before !- an altar of roses, palms and ferns, where Rev. Howard Billman of East St. Louis performed the double ring ceremony. The bride waB attired in a buR of.white serge and was attend* Bj ed by her cousin, Miss Hilda A. Stein p of Belleville, who wore a gown of blue a i silk. . The groom was attended by his brother, Rev. Harry Eversull. Only immediate relatives of the bridal i couple witnessed the ceremony, Fpl-s t lowing the wedding an elaborate sup-t- j per was served, after which the couple o. came to Troy and went to their home i-} in the. Presbyterian parsonage. They a • will spend next week at Piasa after ej which they will motor to Cincinnati, Ohio, to visit with relatives of the groom and will be at home to friends here after August 15th. The bride is an attractive and accomplished young lady, a graduate of the Columbia high school and has been a teacher in the public school there for the past two years. She possesses a pleasing per-, sodality and is quite well known in Troy by reason of frequent visits here in the past. The groom is a son of Mr, and Mrs, E. E. Eversull of East St. Louis and came tc^Troy two years ago from Columbia where he was principal of the high school for several years. He Is a capable and amiable young man and popular amodg all.
