Miirpliy,^iwere united in marriage, the ceremony being performed’ by Rev. Francis E. Miifphy, brother of:the/groom. Many friends and relatives of the contracting 'parties. filled the edifice and it was the first marriage performed'by Father Murphy.; .The bride wore an imported gown of net, and dnohesse lace and carried a show-•• * ** ' ; * 4or bouquet of sweet peas. Miss Marie A. Kjuip'er of Milwaukee attended the bride as maid of honor, gowned in pink net over, silk with n large picture hat, Jatnes Murphy supported the greoth and; the ushers were L. J, Sullivan, Chicago; W. P. Kauper, Milwaukee.Following the ceremony there was a wedding breakfast and reception at the home of the bridoVparents, Mr, ftnd-Mrs. William Bauman, 1545 Douglas avenue, guests being present from Milwaukee, Chicago and other cities.
