3STo Retubns Made.—During the year 1887 the Clerk of the Courts issued the below given marriage license of which no return has been. made. It may be of great value to the parties interested that they look over the matter. We here quote section 2196 of,the code of Iowa, relating to the penalty' afflicted on the person solemnizing a marriage and failing to make a return.“Section 219G.—The person solemnizing marriage shall forfeit a like amount (Fifty Dollars) unless within ninety days after the ceremony he make return thereof to the Olerk of the Circuit Court.”The following is a list of those licenses issued in 1887|of which no return has as yet been made, together with the date of issuance.Jan. l. ’87—J.
