Mary Ann Jennings, Morris 8. Turner married in Le MarsMary Ann Jennings and Morris B. Turner both of Le Mars were married June 16 at the Church of the Nazarene in Le Mars. Rev. Brandt Freeburg read the 2 p.m. double ring vows before the altar decorated with glads.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jennings both’ of Le Mars and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Turner of Movilie.Stan Freeburg was soloist and Mrs. Stan Freeburg presided at the organ.The bride wore a long satin wedding gown with daisy, trim and sheer sleeves. Her floor-length veil was edged in matching trim and she carried white daisies with white rosesiDiane Hemme of Le Mars was maid of honor and Mrs. Pat Shultz and Jill Good-child were bridesmaids. They wore floor-length gowns in lavender and mint green and each carried a matching daisy bouquet.Ralph Yanacheck of Anthon was best-man.and gropmsmen were Steve Beeck and Lanny Hanks. Jerry Renken and Lyle Hanks ushered.Marilyn Jennings acted as flowergirl and Doyle Turner was ringbearer.The wedding reception was held in the Eagles hall after the ceremony for 150 guests.The bride and bridegroom were graduated from high school. He is employed by a Sioux City Iron company.The couple is at home on a farm six miles east of Movilie.
