2 FREDERICKSBURG STANDARD. Wednesday June 27, 1951. Miss Irene Boos, oldest daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Boos, and Monroe Klinksiek, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Klinksiek were united in marriage by the Reverend O. Lindenberg on Sat urday, June 23, at 4:30 p. m.,, in Holy Ghost Lutheran*Church. A ceremony was performed by candlelight before an altar enhanced with arrangements of gladioli, white althea roses and fern. Mrs. O. Lindenberg, organist, ‘played the traditional wedding marches. The bride’s gown of heavy sa tin was fashioned with a marqui sette yoke and trimmed with a wide lace ruffle giving an off the-shoulder effect. The snugly fitted bodice came to a point in front with satin-covered buttons down the back. The sleeves tap ered to a paint which buttoned at the wrist. Gathered lace ruffle cascaded down the front of the full skirt, edges of the hem, and around the long train. Her dou ble fingertip veil, borrowed from Mrs. Lee Roy Besier, was edged with wide lace which fell from a crown of seeded pearls. Her colonial bouquet of white carna tions and white streamers was centered with an orchid. She also wore a gold cross and antique earrings which belonged to her grandmother, the late Mrs. Conradina Ernst. Mrs. Milton Boos, the bride's sister-in-law, was matron of hon or, wearing a pink gown. Brides maids were Mrs. Leo Hartmann, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss LaVerne Boos, sister of the bride, wearing gowns of blue and yel low, respectively. Their gowns were styled alike with a lace bo dice, marquisette yoke, and skirt. Their mitts and headpieces match ed their dresses. Each carried a colonial bouquet of pink asters. Ruthie Metzger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul. Metzger, and niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Her gown was de signed of heavy satin similar to that worn by the bride, and she carried a white basket of snap dragons. Bill Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gray, was ring bearer. He was dressed in a white suit, and carried the rings on a white heart shaped satin pillow. Milton Boos served as best man. The groomsmen were Leo Hart mann, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Stanley Ernst, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Roland Behrends, cousin of the bride, and Ralph Weiershausen, cousin of the bridegroom. The mothers of the couple both wore navy blue dresses, and cor sages of white carnations. Following the nuptials, a bar becue dinner was served at Schmidt's Hall which was follow ed with a dance that night. Mrs. Roland Behrends was in charge of the guest book in which 165 guests regi Mrs. Marvin Behrends and Mrs. Lee Roy Besier assisted with re ceiving the gifts. oeeeeeeeared, wedding cake up with miniature rig an groom, and was served Mrs. Marvin Eckhardt, cou sin of the bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Klinksick are both graduates of Fredericksburg High School. Upon returning from a wedd ing trip to west Texas and New Mexico, they will make their home in the Grapetown commu nity. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Hansford Berry and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ponick of Rogers; Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hoe gemeyer and Mr. and Mrs Paul Metzger and family of San An tonio; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bier man of Sisterdale; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wehmeyer, Mr. and Mrs. Werner Wehmeyer, and Mr. and Mrs. W. T.
