Ernst officiating at the double ring ceremony, The bride and groom were attended by Shirley Adams and Lloyd Lnmoureiuc, friends of the couple.The bride was becomingly attired in a pnstc) pink street-length dress, with white accessories, and wore a corsage of white roses and pink sweet peas. She carried a white -rosary, gift of the groom. The bridesmaid wore a dress of light jade, with white accessories, Her corsage was of yellow roses and lavender sweet peas. ;The groom and his attendant wore conventional dark suits, with white carnation boutonnieres.The bride, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Huckert, was born and raised in this community. She is a graduate of Akron High school and Southern Normal, of Springfield, S. D. For the past few years she has been a successful teacher in the schools of Union county, S. D.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Manning and grew to manhood on his parents' farm, northwest of -Akron., He is a graduate of of Akron High school, and since his * return from military service overseas ■ has been employed by the John Deere Implement Company, Waterloo Iowa, 1 Immediately following the marriage -ceremony, the bridal party motored to Sioux City, where a delicious breakfast was served in Davidson’s Tea | Room.M'.
