Bertha'Holt MarriesKansas Man June 9Tall baskets of pink gladioli and white icora flowers, and white tapers in double candelabra formed the background for the marriage ceremony Sunday, June 9, uniting Mss Bertha Holt, daughter olMn and JHrs. Herman Holt, of Marion, Kansas, and Charles Linn, son of Mr. and Mrs^ Earl Limv of Marion. Dr. E. M. Duty, pastor of the First Christian church, read the single ring ceremony at 6 p. m. in the bride’s home.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white taffeta, long-sleeved gown, fashioned with a fitted bodice buttoned half way down the back, and a full train. Her tiara was of white rose buds tod lace and she carried a bouquet ot pink and white roses. She wore a single strand of pearls.Miss LaVaughn -Christenson, of Marion, bridesmaid, was dressed in a floor-length gown of aqua taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Bulford Selby, of Newton, Kansas, served as best man.The bride was graduated from Galva high school in 1943, and was employed by the Rock Island arsenal until a year ago when she joined her parents in Kansas. Her sister, Mrs. John Collis-ter, lives near Galva.Mr. Linn was graduated from Marion high school and served for 46 months in the Army air force. After his discharge, he entered the University of Colorado at Boulder where he specialized in art and science.After a short wedding trip the couple will live in Boulder and Mr. Linn will____if..... _ . .fit. n . 9 _ i___.11 -
