Married.MAVES-STRICKER.At three o'clock Wednesday afternoon, June 25, 1913, at the German Lutheran church, Rev. Charles Spil-man pronounced the ceremony that united in marriage Mr. August Maves !and Miss Catherine Strieker. The *church altar was appropriately deec- ■ rated for the occasion and the bride ! was beautifully gowmed in yellow satin over lace and the couple were attended by Will and Bertha Maves, Edwin Strieker and Anna Quire. The wedding party went to the home of the bride's parents, C. S. Strieker and wife, where a bounteous five o'clock dinner was served.Many presents were given the young couple that will be useful to begin housekeeping with. In the eveningmusic was discoursed by the EdgertonCornet Band and an orchestra furnished the music for dancing on aplatform upon the lawn. The couplewill reside for the present with the bride's parents. The groom has a position in J. W. Conn's store, is a member of the Edgerten Cornet Band andthe Fire Department and both he andhis bride will receive hearty congratulations from a large circle of friendsamong whom they have passed their whole lives.
