Hex ton in Arnes, the solemn words were pronounced In the presence of a small company of relatives and friends that made Mr. J. (!. Russell, of Charleston, Mo,, and Miss Harriet Sexton, of Ames, man and wife, Rev. Mciutire officiating, and the bride being attended by her two nelces, Misses Ethel aed Lerievievo Perkinses maids of honor. The home was prettily decorated for the occasion with seasonable flowers, the bride daintily and becomingly gowned in white, and the groom dragged with quietness and taste. Mrs. Russell needs no encomium nor eulogy from us, for her life for many years has been spent in Ames and is an open book to her many friends 8he has hold places of trust and confidence in various positions In the city, and always shown herself worthy of them. Though comparatively a stranger, Mr. Russell has shown himself a gentleman by his reserved and dignified bearing and holds the office of recorder-clerk in his home county In Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Russell left on the five o’clock train for Charlestor, going by way of Dos Moines and Ht. Louis, boarding the train amid showers of rice and blessings at the hands and hearts of their friends whoaccompanied them to the station to start them or* their wedding journey.
