MAHKIED.KEAR—ROMIQ-In Brandon, Iowa, June 16, at 11 A. M. by Rev. Garrison, Mr. Wiley McDonald Kear, of Van Wert county, Ohio, to Miss Melinda Romlg, of Brandon, Iowa.The ceremony was very interesting and was witnessed by a crowded house of relatives and friends. Mr. Garrison’s remarkswere ably selected, setting forth the true object of matrimony and its solemn obligations. Wiley look happy and the lucky dog ought to with such a bright little piece of female sweetness hitching herself to him for lief. Happy couple ; may the first hours of wedded bliss be but the first dawn of a long and happy life that may follow. While fond parents lose a loving daughter, KearSins a good wife. Linda is a fine young 1v, respected by all; she will be missed in the church, at home and by her numerous friends. Of Kear we can say nothing having seen him but a few times. He has the deportment of a gentleman which we trust he is. They started on the 5 o'clock train for his home in Ohio.The above is from the Independence, Iowa,National Advocate. We are glad to be ableto give our Western friend the information he lacks Mr. Kear is a native of this county and no young man in it siand9 higher in ,the estimation of our citizens.
