Adkins Family Celebrates 50th AnniversaryThe children of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Adkins of CoolSprings were hosts for a reception Sunday afternoon at Statesville Woman’s Club, honoring the couple on their Golden Wedding Anniversary.Guests were greeted at the door by Rev. Robert Myers of Lenoir, a son-in-law of the honored couple. Their granddaughter, Miss Debbie Lazenby, presided at the guest register.Receiving with Mr. and Mrs. Adkins were their three daughters and sons-in-law.
