Santa Ana in a church wedding solemnized in the Parkview Reformed Church ofSanta Ana Tuesday evening, June 20, at 8 p.m.The bride made a lovely picture as she entered on the arm of her father wearing an original gown fashioned of white chantilly lace and tulle over satin. It was styled with scalloped off the shoulder necklace defined by seed pearls. The bouffant skirt was floor length with chapel train. Jewels fashioned the cap holding her fingertip veil. She carried a white stepknnotis shower with large white orchid center and white streamers.Maid of honor. Miss Linda Aus-terman, Santa Ana, and bridesmaids, the Misses Joy Battelle, Santa Ana, Miss Leslie Battelle, Santa Ana. sisters of the bride, wore identical costumes.Their charming frocks were of aqua slipper satin with fitted bodice, off the shoulder neckline, three quarter sleeves and short full skirt. White whimsy veils were ornamented with white bows and they carried aqua carnations with white ribbon streamers.Candelighters were cousins of the bride. Miss Peggy Espy of Denver, Colorado, and Patrick Lynn, Sacramento. Miss Espey-wore white chiffon over satin with! aqua accessories and wrist corsage of white carnations.Gerald Reedy of Redlands stood as Mr. Roberson’s best man. Ushers were Richard De Blauw of Redlands and Michael Colley, San Bernardino.Two hundred guests witnessed the ceremony conducted by Rev. Jay R. Weener, pastor of the Parkview Reformed Church. Mrs. John McDonough was soloist with Mrs. Vivian Harmon, organist.Two large baskets of aqua and white carnations^ gladioli and stock decorated the altar flanked! bv branching candelabra.Mrs. Battelle, mother of the bride, was gowned in a cream beige lace sheath trimmed with satin and accented by beige accessories. She wore a gardenia corsage.A jacket dress of pale pink organdy with pink embroidery over pink satin and pink accessories was chosen by the bridegroom’s mother Mrs. Robertson. She had a white orchid corsage.Reception honoring the bridal couple followed the nuptials in the church parlor. There Jliss Karen Campbell, Santa Ana, had charge of the guest book. Gifts were in charge of Miss Sharon Ruffin. Miss Karen Paul and Robert Hoots, all of Santa Ana.Assisting at the reception were Mrs. James Parton, San Diego, aunt of the bride. Mrs. Charles Roderick. San Diego, Mrs. J. Bruce Espy. Denver, Colorado, cousin of the bridegroom, ftlrs. John McDonough, Santa Ana, Mrs. Willis Jennings, Santa Ana, and Mrs. Kenneth Nissle, Los Angeles.Now honeymooning in San Francisco and Carmel, Mr. and Mrs. Robertson will return to Redlands to make their home.Mrs. Robertson attended Santa Ana Valley High School graduating in the June class of this year. Mr. Robertson is a graduate of Redlands High School after which he attended Orange Coast College at Costa Mesa.
