Garlands of ston-geria ferns strung through the hillsof love-birds were draped between the columns in the room The bridal aisle featured a beautiful flowered arch and tree*, of whPoi asters with garlands of white satin rope' marked the* aisle* to the canopy which stood on a raised j platform. She was radiant in a gown of white chantilly lace fashioned with a sweetheart neckline trimmed with seed pearls, a fitted sheer bodice and a full skirt, end ing in a cathedral train. Her veil was in four lengths of hand rolled imported illusion falling from a princess cap with one length worrover the face.Mrs. Shapiro, mother of the bride, vore a rose lace dress with a purple-throated white orchid corsage. Mrs. Cohen, mother o! the groom, wore a dress of blue lace and net with a yellow-throated orchid.Immediately following the ceremony. the party retired to the Oak Room where cocktails were served. Dinner was served in the Plantation Room which was beautifully decorated. The bride’s table stood on a raised platform in the rear of the room, covered in white slipper satin cloth which fell in graceful drapes to the floor. Silver candelabra holding lighted tapers with a cluster of rubrum lilies fastened to each one illuminated the table Compotes of pink carnations were placed between each candelabra. The front satin drape held garlands of greenhouse smil-ax fastened at intervals with clusters of rubrum lilies. In trout of the bride’s table was a round table covered in satin, draped with smi-lax an 1 rubrum lilies, which held the bride’s five-tiered cake which was topped with bluish pink orchids. Fans of pink illusion with rubrum lilies adorned the table The bride’s hook was kept by Miss Betty Cohen and Miss Harriet Pinehuek of Waynesboro jTin* bride wore a pink suit for traveling w ith white alt; cessories.On returning from their wedding trip to Miami Beacn.
