Rcadlyn — Mr. and Mrs. W. A.Rathe will celebrate their 25th wed-iding anniversary July 3 with an open house from 2 to 4 p. m, and 7 to 9 p. m.! Mr. Rathe and Mrs. Emma Mei-jer Bahe were married July 3, 1924, 'by Rev. Conrad Meyer, former pastor of St. Matthew’s Lutheran (church They have lived near Read-lyn all their married life. Mr. (Rathe is a retired farmer, j Mr. Rathe has one daughter. Mr*. Walter Sauerbrei and Mrs. Rathe jhas three sons and four daughters. 'Elmer Bahe, Waverly: Reinhart Bahe. Fairbank; Mrs. Alvin Matthias and Lorenz Bahe. Dunkerton; Mrs. John Reisner, Jr., Oelwein, and Mrs. Neil Knode and Mrs. C, J. Smelzer, Ottumwa.There are 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A family dinner will honor Mr. and Mrs. Rathe Saturday. Out-of-town, guests will be present from Spencer and Lynn, Minn.
