Announces Troth .To announce the engagement of her charming young daughter, Miss Marilyn Mitchell, to William D Atkinson, Jr., Mrs, Robert Mitchell entertained with a luncheon yesterday in the Sky Room at the Hotel Mapes. The interesting news was tola on the corsage bouquets at each place that had the name of the bride-to-be on a bride's rose and her fiance's name on bachelor buttons. The table i was centered with a bride doll and i an arrangemen1- of painted daisies.Miss Mitchell is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Robert Mitchell of Reno and she is a member of a pioneer Nevada family, the great granddaughter of Mrs. C. H. Stod-j dard, who in recent years has! lived in Portland, Ore. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Roy Stoddard and the late Mr. Stoddard. Mr. Atkinson is rhe son of Mr. and Mrs. W, D, Atkinson of Reno and he is employed by the Wilson Advertising Agency.
