Valledares which was! solemnized at St. Mary’s Star of theSea Catholic church. Rev. P. L*!uWhite officiated.Promptly at 6 o’oclock the brideleaning on the arm of her father, Mr. Julio Lacedonia, preceded by her bridesmaids and the little flowergirls, slowly enterd the church to the isstrains of Lohengrin’s Wedding niMarch, which was played by Miss wAnna Sweeting. The bridal partywas joined at the altar by the H groom and his groomsmen. ! aThe bride never looked more love-!ly than in her wedding gown of jjJJ ivory satin and long flowing veil.She carried an arm bouquet of roses and ferns. Her bridesmaids wore;dresses of yellow and pink taffeta and carried yellow and pink baskets to match, making a lovely settingfor the bride. The church was La artistically decorated with potted He plants, cut roses and ferns.Miss Claudina Lucignani, attrac- Wf tive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.PiLucignani, was maid of honor. 18 Carlos Rios, a life long friend of the Hs groomsman, was best man- Misses Magnolia Galindo and Marguerita Wl Lacedonia and Messrs. Pete Piodela s,sand Rafel Henriquez were the other attendants. SfFollowing the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the home ofbride’s parents at 1206 Duval street. Mrs. Valladares was born andreared in Key West and has endeared herself to hundreds of friends by ,her sweet personality. She was a member of the ’24 graduation Classof the Monroe County High School.meMr. Valladares is the son of Mr.and Mrs. Leonte Valladares andi blenow holds an important position , with a local clothing store. He is a illyoung man of sterling qualities and is to be congratulated upon winning •for himself so charming a bride.The young couple left on the j Steamer Governor Cobb this morning for Havana where they will visit for j a week. On their return they will be 10at home to their friends at 419 Duvalstreet.They were the recipients of many beautiful presents, some of them coming from out of town, which further attests the popularity of thecouple.
