Couple Celebrates Anniversary With Ceremony In St. Mary'sWhen Mr and Mrs. James A. Stauter stood in the sanctuary of St. Mary’s church at 7 a.m. today, they received again, on their silver wedding anniversary, theblessing bestowed upon them by the Catholic church at a NuptialMaas. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John. R. Donoghue, pastor, was celebrant.In what is said to be the ceremony of its kind to take place in Mobile the original bridal party, with the exception of the late Edward J. Oroya, was .in attendance.A wedding breakfast at theStauter home, 2.12 Lexington aye., followed the ceremony. A reception at the home Sunday from 5to 8 p.m., will round out the celebration.Mrs. Stauter. who entered with her husband, wore a white embroidered net evening gown, with a large white hat and a bouquet of white dahlias.Miss Bessie Hicks, maid of honor, was in aquamarine embroidered marquisette with a pink dahlia bouquet.John Oabb was best man. Ushers were Rplph Knowles, Joe Hyde and Ben Pollman. The menin the party wore white suits with blue ties.Pink gladioli, large tapers in candelebrathe church. Basketslined the altar rg.il.ground was of palms.Mrs. Thomas W. Reynolds,organist, had charge of the music, assisted bv Mrs. Lillian Weston, who sang during the mass.Among out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. William Butler and Mrs. Lena Drago, Alexandria. La.In the assembly watching ceremonies were the five children of the Stauters: James D., Helen.Margaret. Leo and Mary; also Mrs. D.
