Lieut. Benjamin M. Scifres and Miss Avaline Kindis Married at Monticello.A Monticello special says: “MissAvaline Kindig, the oldest daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. H. L. Kindig, was united in marriage Sunday at noon to Lieut. Benjamin M. Scifres of Scottsburg, Ind., at the home of the bride, her father officiating. Miss Kindig is a graduate of Northwestern University and for the last five years has been instructor of English in the Lebanon high school. Lieui. Scifres is with the One Hundred and Fifty-ninth Depot Brigade, Sixth Battery, stationed at Camp Taylor. He received his commission at Fqrt Benjamin Harrison at the first officers’ training camp. Lieut. Scifres is a graduate of Indiana University and of Indiana University Law School, and was instructor for three years of history and public speaking in the Lebanon schools They will reside near Camp Taylor.”■ i ..... • ■ i»
