'Grace Lutheran Candlelight RitesDorothy Darlene Sorlie Becomes Bride of Mark Bruce AtkinsonThe wedding of DorothyDarlene Sorlie and MarkBruce Atkinson, Waukesha, Wis., was solemnized in Grace! Lutheran Church Saturday. The Rev, Marcus I, Gravdal! officiated at the evening cer-j emony, b e f o r e an altar banked with white flowers arid aglow with candles. Can-! dies with greens and white bows decorated pews.The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Walter II. Sor-i lie and tin* bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs Marshall B. Atkinson, all of Kau Claire.AN EXQUISITE floor length gown of silk pcau, fashioned with fitted basque bodice, scoop neckline and three • quarter length sleeves, was chosen by the bride for her wedding. Hie dome skirt, accented with a bow at the side which highlighted t h e d r a p e d overskirt effect, flowed to a chapel tram for added aisle interest. Her fingertip veil of pure silk illusion* was draped to a peau de soil* crown, etched with seed pearls. Site carried a dozen long - stemmed yellow roses with mixed greens.Barbara Bair, San Diego, Calif , was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Constance Clark and Carole Bliss, both of Minneapolis; and Darleen Hyson. The four bridal attendants were attired identically in street length gowns designed with fitted silk-linen bodices and silk over taffeta bell skirts in a soft yellow shade. Their harmonizing cabbage rose headpieces were accented with large matching pearls and blusher veils. They carried long - stemmed white roses.The bride's personal attendants were Donna Walker and Mary Microw.ATTENDANTS for the groom included Paul Fuson, Fargo, N. D., best man; John Burmeister, Paul Marcus, and Richard Carlson, St. Paul, groomsmen and Ti m Welch, Michael Carroll, Orville Lee, and John Burmeister, ushers.Acolytes Reggie P e t t i 11 and Michael Carroll lighted the candles.Aanet StudioMRS.
