Her veil of silk illusion fell from a crown of seedand Mrs. Olin Reginald Gates, of Hopewell .and Chap. Travis Le-Roy Blaisdell, son of. Mrs. Ullie Mae Blaisdell, of Corpus Christi, Texas, took place yesterday at 4:3d p.m. in Woodlawn Baptist Church, Hopewell.The Rev. Carey Steele performed the ceremony before a background of, palms, fern, mixed flowers and candelabra. Earl Valentine, soloist, was. accompanied by Mrs. Earl Valentine, organist. ,G i v e n in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk organza with appliques ofDetroit Couple At Church RoadpMr, and Mrs. Robert L. Tucker,of Detroit, Mich., are guests of Mr. Tucker’s brother and sister-in-law; Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Tucker.• *Mrs. Sieve Ringer and daughters, Donna Lee .and Connie Sue, of Hillsboro, Texas are spending some time with Mrs. Ringers mother, Mrs. J. R. Ragsdale.Mrs.' Ragsdale entertained at a family dinner for them Monday. Those present included: Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Ragsdale Jr. and chil-j dren, of Dinwiddle; Mrs. George Bracey Ragsdale and son, George Allen, of McKenney.Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams are here for several days after being at their home in New York.pears and crystals. She carrieda prayer book, topped with a white orchid and showered with sfephanotis.Miss Barbara La Verne Gates , was maid of honor. She wore a blue embroidered silk organza dress over taffeta, styled with a drop waist. The skirt, of inverted box pleats, was gathered in back with a bow, which formed a bustle. She carried a bouquet of mixed pink flowers.r *Bridesmaids were. Miss Eunice Todd Gates and Mrs. Charles J. Morris of H ooew ell. * They wore pink dresses identical to the honor attendant’s and carried bou-quetsj of mixed pastel flowers.0. Reginald Gates Jr., brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers, were Carlton P. Me-Lauchlin of Rock Hill, S.C., and James Edward Gates of Charlottesville.The bride’s mother wore a pink lace dress with black accessories. The bridegroom’s mother wore a dress of rose lace over taffeta with pink accessories,Following the eeremonv, a reception was held in the social hall of the church.For traveling, the bride wore a costume suit in coffee and walnut brown, brown patent accessories, and an orchid.After a trip to New York, the couple will make their home in Colorado Springs, Colo.The bride attended Pan American Business School, Chap. Blaisdell attended Southwestern Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth Texas.
