SmithAlsup Wedding HereMr. «ndl Mrs. Robert Smith of The Heights, Michigan, announce the marriage of their daughter, Sue, to Charles Alsup of Deming. New Mexico. The ceremony took place Juntas in the Presbyterian Church *1? * JDemink- About 20 relatives and friends of the couple were present.The bride is a graduate of the Deming High School and for the past two years has been attending ■New Mexico State Teachers’ College, Silver City, New Mexico.The groom is a junior in the • Univirsity of New Mexico Law School at Albuquerque. During the war he served as a lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers.The bride was honored recently in absentee, at a shower held a* the Scout Lodge.Many lovely gifts were wrapped and sent to her in New Mexico. Twenty-two ladies were present, and those unable to attend sent their iiifts.All of Sue’s friends are wishing her and husband a happy and propemus life.(Copied from The Houghton Lake Resorier.
