Peter Makark, of Harw y. wore married at St. Andrew's '_■} urvh in Calumet Cit last. Sunday at 9:4-r a. m. Father Leonard officiated.The bride who was escorted to the altar by her father, was attired in a white satin gown trimmed wit- la, and having a sweetheart nee-line, and a long train. Her veil was long and was held in place by a crown oi lace. She carried a bouquet, of white roses, white carnations and an or-eh id.Martha Zarow ny, who was the maid of honor, wore an orchid crepe dress trimmed with lace. She wore an orchid picture hat ami carried tea roses arid lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids were Alice Ciehowicz, sister of tht bride, and Joan Rudzki, the bridegroom s sister. Miss ' if ow-icz wore a pink crepe and lace gown and a pink picture hat. She carrier: pink roses and lilie of the valley. Mrs. Ruth ki wore a dress of yellow crepe and lace and a yellow picture hat. She carried red n -es and lilies of the valley.The bridegroom was attended by Fklward Kozik. Tie user? were Leo Ivudzki and Chester Korpella. The church was decorated with bouquets of pink peonies. The church choir, of which the bride wras a member, sang during the ceremony. Mrs. Kwiatow-ski and Genevieve Wojcik were the soloists. The wedding mam-h was played by the church organist, who also played fhe violin. The bride’s mother wore a blue dress and Mr. Makaryk’s mother wore a dress in rose color.The reception was held in the Ukrainian hall in Harvey ,with about 105 guests present. There wrns a large wedding cake and refreshments.11c. Makaryk was in the south Pacific before I is furlough and will return to duty on July 2. Mrs. Makaryk will make her home with Pfc. Makaryk’s parents for the duration of the war.
