Valley Couple Is Married At a Minitonas Church• •A wedding ceremony was performed on June 9th, at 5 p m. in the Minitonas Gospel Hall when Agnes Margaret, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs. Geo. Cleaverly of Minitonas became the bride of Mr. Donald Albert Burton, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Burton of Lidstone.Rev. C. Walker of the Pentecostal Tabernacle of Swan River, preformed the ceremony. Mrs. A. Mitchell, aunt of the groom played the wedding mus-fc. lt;The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white georgette, full length, with fitted bodice, high neck with Peter Pan collar and the front owning was marked by white quilted embroidery. She wore a full length veil, held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of red roses and fern. Her only jewellery was a sterling sil-s ver locket, a gift of the groom.Mrs. James Hall, a cousin of the s bride was m a tron - of - honor and chose a full length gown of heavenly blue crepe. The bridesmaids. Misses Muriel Burton, sister of the bridegroom and Annabelle Cleaverly. sister of the bride wore gowns of taffeta in pastel shades. The matron-of-honor and bridesmaids wore chapel veils held in place by white m gardenias and carried colonial boquets.Little Agnes Hall, wearing a long full skirted dress of yellow organdie wasflower girl.! Mr. Dave Cleaverly, brother of the bride was best man. Messrs. Jamea HalJ ’* and Cameron Mitchell were ushers.A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride's parents. In the evening an informal reception was held. ^ Mr. and Mrs. Burton will reside in Winnipeg.
