WEDDING BELLS.One of the most happy weddings that was solemnized in Batesville took place at St. Louis’ Catholic Church at 8:30 a. m., Wednesday,; June 16, 1897, the contracting parties being Mr. Adolph Cook and Miss Mary Binke, Father Clemens officiating.The attendant couples were Joseph Cook and Miss Mary Huseman and Ben Binkey and Miss Lizzie Willmes.The bride looked exceptionally beautiful dressed in white cashmere, and the groom appeared handsome in a becoming suit of black clay worsted.After church the happy couple re-; paired to the residence of Jake Engle I where a large crowd of admiring relatives and friends awaited them, including the following from a distance:Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
