Frederick Kipp performed the ceremony.Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Virgil E. Schmaltz, route 4, Benton Harbor. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Flaherty, SIS Lewiston, Waterviiet.The bride wore an organza empire gown trimmed with cotton vertse lace and designed with an apron skirting gathered in the back. Matching lace edged her veil and she carried white sweetheart roses* blue miniature carnations and baby's breath.Miss Denise Schmaltz sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Kathy Eggers, Mrs. David Schmaltz, Miss Pamela Flaherty, sister of the groom, and Miss Debra Callahan.Tersa Reeves was flower girl and Shawn Flaherty was ring-beurer.Serving as his brother’s best man was John Flaherty. Ushers were Bradly Lainplot* David Schmallz, brother of the bride, Riehard Fox, James Flaherty, brother of the groom, Larry Coburn and Tom Formsma.A reception was held ai the DANK Hall, Benton Harbor.The couple is on a weddingMRS. DAVID FLAHERTY Debra Schmaltztrip to Phoenix, Ariz., where they will reside.The bride is a graduate of Waterviiet high school and was employed in the dietary department at Waterviiet Community hospital. The groom is stationed in the United States Air Force at Luke AFB, Phoenix.
