Tifonka Girl Bride of Former Buffalo Cenfer ManMiss Bonnie Lorraine; Gerard and Bob Davis were married on Sunday, June 12, 1955 at 3:00 p.m. in the Methodist church, Titonka, Iowa, by the Rev. Max Goldman who used the double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will L, Gerard of Titonka and Mr. Davis' parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Davis of Kellogg, Minnesota, former Buffalo Center residents.Mrs. Will Schram, the organist for the ceremony, accompanied Joan Johnson, soloist.The gown chosen by the bride was ballerina length, fitted bodice of lace over taffeta, sweetheart neckline, long fitted sleeves tapering to a point over her wrists. The bouffant skirt was nylon tulle over taffeta with lace overskirt. Her hip length illusion veil was held in place by a sweetheart shaped half hat, adorned with tiny seed pearls. She carried a white orchid surrounded with white carnations and white streamers. Her gift from the bridegroom was a pearl necklace.Miss Leona Hoffman attended as bridesmaid, and she wore a light blue, ballerina length dress of net over taffeta, a pink carnation headdress that matched her carnation colonial bouquet.Dale Higgins attended his friend as bestman. Jerry Dutcher and Roger Bohl were ushers.Approximately 125 guests attended the reception after the wedding. A three-tier cake decorated in white and topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom, decorated the table.For travel the bride chose to wear a gray cord suit with black and white accessories and the white orchid from her bouquet. After a short wedding trip to the Wisconsin Dells, they will make their home on a farm south of Woden.,The new Mrs. Davis graduated from the Titonka High School, attended Iowa State Teachers College, taught at the St. Ansgar public school the past year.Mr. Davis was recently discharged from the U.
