W oodley-TomptVows Exchanged* 4Local Resident Wed In Trinity CeremonyMiss Phyllis Woodley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Woodley, Fargo, was married Friday to Lynn M. Tompt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnj Tompt, 429 Ninth street south, at i a 7:30 o'clock service in the evening. The wedding took place in the Trinity Lutheran church, with Reverend Roy Harrisville reading the vows.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown, fashioned in a princess style, and high neckline. Her lace veil of floor length, formed a halo effect around her tace. She carried j white gardenias and carnations.Mrs. Luther Wright, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid, and wore a white satin gown with net overskirt. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses and carnations. Donald Scott, Harood, N. D., was best man and ushers were Misses Viola and!Maxine Tompt.* • .A reception was given by the bride’s parents in the basement of the church, following the ceremony. Decorations were in white and spring flowers were used in bouquet. About 80 attended the reception.Mr. and Mrs. Tompt have gone on a wedding trip to the lake regions, and will make their home in Colfax, N. D., where Mr. Tompt is employed, vMrs. Tompt attended and graduated from Fargo high school, and attended the NDAC. She was employed by Standard Oil in Fargo previous to her marriage.Mr. Tompt attended Moorhead high, and is honorably discharged from the navy after five years' service overseas. He' was at Pearl harbor at the time of the Japanese attack. He is now employed by the Colfax Grain company, Colfax, N. D.
