MISS MARION HILL OF CANYON IS BRIDE OF MR. LEMORE HILLE.50nnit3.nv.Special to The New*CANYON, June 22.—Miss Mahon Hill of Canyon became the bride of Mr. Lemore Hill of Amarillo in an impressive garden wedding at the home of her parents, President and Mrs. J. A. Hill of the West Texas State College. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hill of Amarillo.Dr. C. C. Gfimes of the Poik Street Methodist Church, Amariilo, read the double-ring ceremony bp-fore an altar devised of a rock fountain draped with larkspur and smilax, with an overhead arch of smilax and baby's breath. Louise Shirley played a violin solo, “On Wings of Love,” Mendelssohn, and Ada V. Clark gave a vocal solo, “O Promise Me,” by De Koven, as introductory music. Prances Userv played Mendelssohn’s Wedding March.The procession, led by the groom's brother, Junior Hill, and Jo Ann Hill, the bride’s niece, moved along an aisle formed with larkspur, joined by white ribbon. Misses Margaret Esther Hill of Amarillo and Evelyn Shanklin, Pampa, were bridesmaids. Their gowns were of pink and blue organza and their coronets were of blue corn flowers. They carried arm bouquets of peach gladioli in two shades. Miss Martha Nell Lang of Tyler, maid of honor, wore yellow organza over satin and a coronet of yellow columbine. Her bouquet was of orchid gladioli tied with chartreuse satin ribbon.The bride wore white organza over satin. Her wedding cap was fashioned from the point lace bertha from her mother's wedding dress. She carried pink Briarcliff rosebuds.Ushers were Don Bowie, Wichita Falls, and Harold Shanklin, Chan-ning. Keller Muse of Hereford was best man.Presiding over the biide's book was Pattie Whittenburg Ashby, Mrs. J. Davis Hill, Amarillo, and Mrs. Frank Monroe, Pampa, were hostesses.Wedding cake and punch were served to 300 guests by Lou Efla 11 McDade, Dumas; Margarete Rose, t Odessa; Bettie Dale West, Memphis; Evelyn Shanklin, Wichita Falls; Frances Alice Clark, Canyon; Ruth La Fon, Clarendon, and Allieth Elliston, Canyon.The btide and groom will make their home in Amarillo.0)abCtigtiwh:VtlhsiPmalt;i8mh:altiloofPi
