A Pleasant Wedding:.One of the very interesting social events of the season to be remembered, was the quiet wedding of Mr. J. W. Peisen, and Miss Aggie E. Lampreclit, at the bride's home in Eldora, on Wednesday evening June 22nd 1887.About twenty five invited guests were present, mostly relatives. The ceremony was preformed by Rev. J. Dolpli, of Eldora, and the happy couple received hearty congratulations from all present. A bountiful supper wasserved, and one of the most pleasura- . hie sociable hours enjoyed that it has been our fortune to participate in for a long time. All seemed to do their part in contributing to the enjoyment of the occasion. Mr. Peisen is well known in Eldora and vicinity as an honest, upright and successful business man. He has been for some years in the boot and shoe trade, and is the senior member of the firm “J. W. Peison Co. He is highly respected by all, and looked upon as one of Eldora's leading business men. The bride is one of -Eldora’s brightest and best young ladies, and held in very high esteem by all who know her. Mr. Peisen has reason to congratulate himself upon his good fortune in capturing so estimable a young lady to sliare his fortunes in the walks of life. The many very valuable presents received were an evidence of the high esteem in which the nuptial pair are held. Between 12 aiid 1 .o'clock at night, Mii band, of which the groom is a^member, serenaded the happy couple with strains of the sweetest music were ever heard. The Second Brigade Band is the best in the State, and always render good music, but we thought they rather outdid themselves on this occasion. The air was just right to render the music delightful, and the occasion was worthy of the best efforts of the best band in the State. The Ledger shares its best wishes with the many friends of the happy couple for their future success and happiness.The following is a list of presents with names of doners.J. H.
