Brokaw will be at home at 313 West Walnut street, Sheffield. Mr. Brokaw and the former Patricia A. Truedson were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24 in St. Patrick’s Catholic church in Sheffield, the Rev. Fr. G. Verhoye officiating.The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Truedson, Sheffield, and Mr. Brokaw a son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Brokaw, Tiskilwa. Mr. Truedson presented his daughter at the altar which was flanked with bouquets of blue carnations in large baskets. Mrs. Kathryn Ary was organist, and soloist was Orville Brokaw, father of the bridegroom.The bride was gowned in white voile with Venise lace trim. Her fitted bodice had a scopped neckline and pouff sleeves. The demi-bell skirt was floor length and Venise daisy braid trimmed her bodice and edged the detachable chapel train. A lace headpiece held her veil of illusion and she carried a handkerchief made by the bridegroom’s grandmother and rosary, carried by the bride’s mother when she wasmarried. Daisies and baby’s breath, tied with streamers, formed the bride's bouquet.Her maid of honor was a sister, Miss Sharon A. Truedson. Bridesmaids were Proui Imburgia and Mary Brokaw. Flower girl was Koreen Brokaw. Their gowns were of Royal blue sheer, formal and with puffed sleeves. Their Empire bodices were encircled with white velvet ribbon and headbands were of daisies. They carried balls of multicolored daisies held with blue satin ribbon. The flower girl wore powder blue.Best man was a brother, John Brokaw. Groomsmen were Richard and Gary Brokaw. Ring bearer was Mike Brokaw, and ushers were Joe Ringenberg, Robert and Charles Brokaw and James Brokaw. Acolyteswere Jim and Jerry Ringenberg, cousins of the bride.Guests gathered in parish hall for the reception. Attending the details were Mrs. Marvin Ringenberg, Aline Emmerson, Mrs. Glenn DeBolt, Mary Ann Vegne-man, Andy Sturtewagon, Jean and Jan Ringenberg, Barb DeBolt, Sandy Sturtewagon, Barb Sullivan and Julie Angus.(Herron Photo)MR. and MRS.
