Wedding Vows1AreI.- . «The Start Baptist Church was the setting June 10, for the wedding of Miss La Juana Pearl Flint, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Earl Flint of Start,, toMr. Jackie Lee Henry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Horace Henry.The Rev. Joe Mangle performedthe double ring ceremony.Myriads of cathedral tapers illuminated the church where baskets of white gladioli and white mums formed the background forthe ceremony.Mrs. Joe Mangle, organist presented the nuptial music, and Cecil Watts was soloist. ■The bride wore white taffeta with a finger * tip veil, ^ which was held in place by a tiara ofseed pearls. She carried a bouquet of stephanotis, feathered carnations, and in the center was a purple throated orchid.Mrs. Faye Wade, chosen as ma-w tron of honor, and the brides- y maids. Mrs. Edith Warren of Bastrop, Mrs. Jane Cole and Mrs. Edna Watts of Start and Miss Tommy Germany of Rayville, wore ballerina length models of orchid taffeta. Their bouquets were fan arrangements of purple astcrs.A reception was held in the reception room of the church. Those serving were Misses Barbara Ann Epps, Minnie Jo Robinson and Mrs. Pat Landrum.Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Floyde Wilhite, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wilhite and Robert of Monroe: Mrs. Lee Roy Derrick, Earl Sullivan and Miss Barbara Epps of West Monroe; Elizabeth Youngblood, Mrs, Dollie Germany and Tommie Germany, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin McCarty of Rayville;J. R. White, Mrs. W. R. Nutt, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gross and family and Mrs. Mattie Johnson of Bastrop.The couple will make their homein Start.
