James, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin James of Corning, was solemnised at 8 p.m Sunday at the Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran church in Anita. Bouquets of garden flowers decorated the church and reception room. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. M. L Bake, church pastor.The couple was attended by ) Miss Norma Jean Lund and Lloyd I Pedersen. The bride wore a navy H blue suit with white accessories r jand a corsage of pink roses. Miss I ■Lund wore a navy and powder | blue suit dress with white acc4i-| sories and a corsage of pink car-1 nations. jUshers were Kenneth Roed, | brother of the bride, and Virgil *I James, brother of the groom. INupital music was by Mrs. Gay Karstens who also accompanied the girls* quartet, Shirley Behn-ken, Peggy Dove, Shirley Eden and Barbara Pearson, who sang “The Lord Is My Shepherd.A reception for 1(24 was held in the church parlors. In charge of the decorating and serving were the members of the Ladies Aid. Mrs. Elmer Roed. of Exira, aunt of the bride, cut and served the wedding cake; pouring was Mr*.
