Mrs. Carl Sexton, mother of the bride, wore a white flowered bemberg dress with white accessories. She wore a corsage of yellow roses. Mrs. Kenneth Murdock, mother of the bridegroom, wore a navy blue dress with white accessories and wore a corsage of white roses.Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors for the125 guests. Mrs. Gerald Baker was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Fete Downey of Corning, aunt of the bride, served the wedding cake after the bride and groom had traditionally cut the first piece. The tiered cake was decorated with touches of yellow and green. Mrs. Leland Campbell had charge of serving the ice cream while Mrs. Bert Shawler served at the punch bowl. Mrs. Chester Campbell poured. Assisting with the gifts were Mrs. Eber Ritnour of Gravity, aunt of the bride, and Mrs.
