* * *BRIDAL SHOWERA ^re-nuptial shower in honor of the former Phyllis Sexton was held the latter part of May at the I. O. O. P. hall in Lenox. Miss Sexton became the bride of Randall Murdock of Corning, Sunday.Hostesses at the shower were Mrs. Carl Sexton and Miss Juanita Ferguson. About 40 guests shared in the courtesy. The hall was beautifully decorated in green and yellow, the bride’s chosen colors. Many useful and beautiful gifts were displayed under a green and yellow parasol, with a silver heart design attached. Games were played and a short program was presented by the Platte No. 9 school. Refreshments consisting of green and yellow ice cream, cup cakes and coffee were served.
