Social DoingsA pretty June wedding took place at tin; Immanuel church parsonage at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon when Miss Cora Kuester, daughter of Mrs. Charlotte Kuester, became the bride of Mr. Louis A. Knick, the Rev. George Sand-rock reading the ceremony. The bridal pair was attended by Miss Gertrude Kuester, sister of the bride, and Mr. Gustav Steinagle.The bride wore a gown of ivory white erepe and satin and she carried bride’sroses, while the maid of honor wore agown of yellow crepe de chien and carried carnations.Immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present at an informal reception and wedding dinner held at the home of the bride’s toother, 304 Uole street, late in the afternoon. The home | was prettily decorated with festoons of) white jasmine and large bouquets of peon as.Mr. and Mrs. Knick left in the evening for a week’s tour through northern cities. Cpon their return they will take up their residence at 512 North Fourth street, where they will be at home to their friends after July 15.The bride is exceedingly popular with both old and young, being a most pleas-; ant young lady who has a host of friends and the groom is a most excellent young man and both have chosen wise* j ly. They have the best wishes of all their friends and none more sincere than the Leader.
