Workman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Workman of Puposky, on May 11 at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Debs.The Rev. T. J. Weltzin performed the double ring ceremony. Jon Larson sang The Wedding Song” and “The Lord’s Prayer”, accompanied by Suzanne Blanshen.Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose a white gown fashioned with high neckline and sheer sleeves with flowers on them. The top was fashioned with pearls. She carried an arrangement of pink, yellow, blue and white carnations.Becky Jallen, was her sister’s maid of honor and brides maids were Mrs. Pam Wynkoop, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Debbie Hill of Bemidji. They wore separate colors of pink, yellow and blue polyester knit floor length gowns with matching floral headpieces. They carried a smaller rendition of the bride’s bouquet.John Workman Jr. of chisholm attended his brother as bestman. Groomsmen were Pete Newby and Bill Newby of Puposky. Ushers were Rodney Jallen brother of the bride and Jeff Workman, brother of the groom.A formal pink gown withpink sheer sleeves was wornby the bride’s mother and the groom’s mother was dressed in a turquiose floor length gown.The host and hostesses wereMr. and Mrs. Alfred Winger and Mr. and Mrs. SiguardWinger who also did the decorating and the baking of the cake and cookies. The cake was served by Mrs. Edna Nei and Mrs. Shirley Workman of Chisholm. Coffee servers were Mrs. Margaret Arfsten aunt of the bride; the ice cream server was Trudy Workman sister of the groom. Punch was served by Mrs. Dianne Newby, sister of the bride. The guest book was attended by Gail Garrison cousin of the bride. Waitresses were Mrs. Emma Garrison, Julie Alhgren. Janet Nei. Gifts were opened by Mary Mooney and Mrs. Sherrie NordSpecial guests were Mrs. Kate Gustafson, great grand mother of the groom and Mrs. Millie Baumgart,t grandmother of the groom. Both are from Bemidji.The bride and groom are both graduates of Bemidji High School. The bride is working as a secretary at the high school and the groom is employed by Bemidji Blacktop.
