Miss Leota Ruth Pross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo W. Pross of 1325 South Hildreth St. Charles City, Towa, and Daryl Eugene Buf fington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reed s. Buffington, Columbus Junction, Towa, repeated their wedding vows in a single ring ceremony held at the Cross Lutheran church in Charles City, June 12, 1985 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Waldemar A. Gei rer officiated. The maid of honor was Miss Marye Wagner of Mt. Pleas nt, school friend of the bride. William Schroeder of Charles City, load of the groom, was the best the bride's father gave her away. She was wearing white nylon eye let overlaying white organdy fash ioned in ballerina length — with , ubuttoned-down-the - front bodice, puffed sleeves, and flared skirt. She also wore a white hat, mitts, and shoes. She carried a colonial bou fquet of pink roses and white ear ‘The maid of honor wore an aqua Dallerina length dress with aqua tole. Her corsage was a pale pink carnation. ‘The best man had a brown suit and white carnation boutonniere Diana Dobernecker, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. She wore white organdy over white tafl feta with a white hat and sandals She carried a white basket trimmed with pink and green ribbon and white ruffled net, from which she scattered red rose petals. ‘Thomas Gill, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer. He wore white trousers and a blue coat and carried the rings on a white taffeta pillow trimmed with pink and green ribbon and white net ruffles .The bride's mother had selected navy blue with white accessories and a corsage of red carnations. The groom's mother likewise chose navy blue but her accessories were red and she wore a conage of real ‘The vows were taken as the cou ple stood before a background en hanced with two baskets of red roses and orange blossoms. Clus ters of red rows adorned the pew Mrs. Orren Grundmeier of, Charles City, Town, played the ore gan music, while Mrs. Pred Ratc liffe of Des Moines, aunt of the ‘de, sang “O Perfect Love , and the couple knelt at the altar ‘The Lord's Prayer”. Mrs. Grund meier wore a corsage of pink ca ptions and Mrs. Ratcliffe wore a corsage of red and white carna The reception was held in the church parlors. Ponk and green ties were used to decorate the punch ladle, the candlestick hold s, cake knife, mint and nut dish es. The wedding cake was baked by Mrs. Willard Davis, aunt of the goom from Winfield, Towa. Wed sing cake, cupcakes, punch, nuts, and mints were served. For their wedding trip to Wash ington, D.
