All arrangements for the wedding were kept secret, and their many friends were agreeably surprised when the announcements of the event were sent out to all parts of the county and state.The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jones, one of the prominent families of the southern end of the county. She is a talented young lady withmany admirable qualities. She*has often visited in Covington, where she has a large number of admiring friends.Mr. Gray is one of the prominent men in public life in Fountain countv, and he has a wide% *acquaintance all over the state. Fie is now serving his second term as Auditor of this countv,w *which nosit ion he has filled in a very excellent manner and to the satisfaction of the people of the county. A short time ago he was elected to the office of Brigadier-General of the Uniform Rank of the Knights of Pythias of Indiana, the highest office in the order. This position has given him a state-wide reputation, and has called him to every part of the state to assist in work pertaining to the Rank.. Mr, and Mrs. Gray will be pleas-I ed to meet all of their many old | friends when they become estab-i lished in their new home in Cov-j ington, which will be about September 1st,
