Given Miscellaneous Shower.Mrs. Fred Sumner, of 1020 Gilbert street, gave a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Bess Sumner, whose marriage to H. C. Johnstone of Rock Island, 111., will occur in the near future. The house was beautifully decorated in pink and white the wedding colors. While the gifts were presented Miss Elizabeth McCotnas, of Covington, Ind. played “Hearts and Flowers.” The out of town guests were the Missess Davidsons, of Hillsboro, Mrs. Margaret McComas. Misses Elizabeth and Loyola McComas of Covington. Miss Sumner’s home is in Hillsboro, Ind., but for three years she has been a member of the teaching corps of the Danville public schoois.—Danville, Press Democrat.
